By accessing or using Emily — Your Soulful Chat (“Emily”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Emily.

Eligibility and Children

Emily is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age required by your local laws to consent to data processing, you must have parental or guardian consent and supervision to use Emily.

User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• Provide accurate information and update it as necessary.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

Acceptable Use

• Use Emily for lawful, personal wellbeing purposes.
• Do not attempt to harm, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not use Emily to generate or disseminate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

Content and Conduct

You are responsible for the content you input. Emily provides AI-generated responses for reflection and wellbeing support; it does not replace professional medical, psychological, or legal advice.

Paid Features

Some features may be offered on a paid basis. Prices, billing, and refund policies will be disclosed in‑app or on the store listing as applicable.

Privacy

Your use of Emily is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains data practices, children’s privacy, and how to delete your account.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time:

• Open Emily → Settings → Account → Delete Account
• Confirm deletion; this action is irreversible.

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion via the Developer Contact email listed on our Google Play store page. We will verify your identity and process the request within a reasonable period.

Disclaimers

Emily is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of Emily.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Emily for violations of these Terms, unlawful activity, or to protect users and the service. You may stop using the app at any time and may delete your account as described above.

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Local consumer protection laws may grant you additional rights.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date will be shown above. Continued use of Emily after changes indicates acceptance.
